I am not running any school holiday programs in 2014 – but I am running my Cook to Cure program… check it out on the tab on the top of this page…
We will let you know when the next program will be held.
There are no fees to join in. Just by signing up you go in the draw for a stunning prize. Once on the program there are awesome prizes that both kids and parents will love!!
This program is UNIQUE and available ANYWHERE there is Internet coverage. This means parents have no travelling, no pick ups or drop offs – kids learn to cook in their own home, using their food, cooking their dinner. Location is no barrier to participation.
Kids love it
The program is hosted by me, Claire Gourley. I will motivate and inspire kids to share my food discovery journey. Feedback from kids on the previous online programs is awesome!
Uses technology wisely
All kids love participating in live-chats, uploading images, watching You Tubes and making Internet cooking buddies. The love seeing what other kids are doing too. Activities are designed to keep internet data use to a minimum.
Program is flexible – kids from a huge age range (5 – 16) join in.
Most the kids are aged 9 – 12, but we also have younger and older kids too. During the program families and friends from up and down the country sit down to an It’s My Turn To Cook Tonight dinner!
It’s more than just cooking
We slip in all sorts of other foodie things – like making good food choices, reading labels, kitchen safety, budgeting, nutrition tips, food jokes plus they gain confidence both in the kitchen and on the computer. We send them to do challenges – like over-the-top table settings and random acts of food kindness – all fun activities designed to give kids practical food skills as well as a deeper understanding of food.
We give you everything you need to get you sorted
There is a recipe e-Book for each program that you can download. As well as recipes there are also lots of foodie tips to help kids too. Plus we have a range of videos with more food savvy tips woven all through them.
